7 GOALS FOR 2019 – WEEK 5 OF 52

Hey hey, I’m back today with an update on my goals for the year.

So let’s get right to it, shall we?

 

 

1 – Lose 100 pounds.  

 

 

Oof.  I’m not gonna lie, this week was tough.  We had some family stuff happening, so there was some emotional eating goin’ on.  And I was making Valentine packages for the fam and I may have eaten some York Peppermint Patties hearts.  And some Hershey’s Kisses.  And some mini Kit Kats.  Oh, and yesterday was the Super Bowl.  I actually GAINED WEIGHT this week.  But seeing my progress on the graph above still keeps me drivin’.  I’m kickin’ ass this week.

Only 88.2 pounds to go!

 

2 – Read 4 books.  

 

 

I started reading In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume, and it took me back to 6th grade when I loved to read.  I found 2 extra hours to read this week, and I loved every minute of it.  I couldn’t put the book down, and I can’t wait to pick it up again!

1 down, 3 to go!

 

3 – Canning.  

Still in a holding pattern until garden + harvest season.

 

4 – Bake a pie from scratch. 

I added Crisco to my bi-weekly grocery order, so crust is coming …

 

5 – Save $1000 cash.  

Not even a dime this week ….

Only $894.75 to go!

 

6 – Self-care. 

 

Baking.  Cooking.  Loofah.  Nair.  Saturday afternoon nap with my pupper by my side.  And a couple of good cries.

 

7 – Do something with the blog. 

Still goin’ strong.
