Adventures in couponing + a giveaway.

Happy Sunday!

I’ve had a case of the lazies lately.  I think it’s the weather – it’s starting to get cold and rainy.  And then there’s the time change – it’s dark when I get to the office and it’s dark when I leave to go home.  So lazy that I didn’t prepare a coupon post for y’all for today.  I knew this last night and still didn’t move away from my craft table where I was creating for the magazine and watching college football and get to snappin’ up some couponing pictures.  And I do have some.  I went a doublin’ last week.  And there are doublers in the paper today so me and the kiddos are gonna head down there and score us some free and cheap.  So that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.  However, I do come bearing a deal for you:  a really cool AND CHEAP Christmas gift.

Upload your favorite picture and have it created on canvas.  Canvas People does a really nice job.  For Mother’s Day, I gave my mom a picture of the kids at the Fiesta Bowl, for his birthday, I gave my father-in-law a picture of the kids in their formal clothes from when we were on our cruise to Alaska, and recently I ordered one of these to give to my aunt for Christmas.  The $55-off deal makes the 8×10 size free – you just pay $14.95 shipping.  A little high for shipping, but if the total gift price is $14.95 for something like this, it’s a score in my book.  Aren’t the, um, how should  I say, the *old people* in your life the hardest ones to shop for?

It seems like they change their offer often.  If it offers you the free shipping instead of the $55 off, use promo code thankyou50 and that’ll get you the same deal:  8×10 for free and $14.95 shipping.

• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Ear plugs
• Refreshing hand and face towelette
• Tissues
• Pen
• Burts Bees lotion

Hey, where’s the coupon adventure?! Jus kidding, lol. Oh, I saved 4 whole bucks on my last trip to the store, LOL. But it’s a start, right? Another generous giveaway! Oh and putting that frame on my desk is to remind me why I have to work in the first place – to support my crafting habit, lol. BTW, how’s your little man doing? And I think our PTI blog group died…

I adore Burt’s Bees! And my son and his wife just moved to Colorado and with the higher altitude the other products would be so great to put in their stockings this year – including the Starbucks card – so I would definitely PLAY IT FORWARD if I’m the lucky duck winner!
