Twilight.

I am so not in to the Twilight thing.  Team Edward or Team…whoever the other guy is.  BUT! – I did just buy the first one from Amazon because I scored it for $5 with shipping included.  I haven’t watched it yet – maybe this weekend.  Vampires, really?

Anyway….this paper reminds me of the Twilight series – and don’t ask me what the paper is because it’s long gone now.  I think it was Creative Imaginations, but don’t quote me on that.  So I made a bold New Year’s card with it.

And a Twilight card to send to someone who is in to all this Twilight stuff.  Although off the top of my head I can’t think of anyone to send it to which is why it’s been sitting in my card box for like 6 months.  Ah well…eventually the right occasion for the right person will come; it always does 😉

Wow, gorgeous rich colors, glitter, bling and love that red rose! I haven’t gotten into twilight either. My sister loves it and tried to show us the first movie – but it really dragged on for me. There are handsome guys in it, though 😉 I figure that’s the draw in, lol.

Oh you can send it to me!! 🙂 I LOVE your cards!!

And, I am such a Twi-mom (scary huh… almost 40… and yes, I’m a Team Edward fan!). I actually am a literary fan of most genre’s, and read hundreds of books (was an English minor in college simply because of all the courses I took, nothing planned!) before I had kids!! However, my favorite thing of Stephanie Meyer’s books (which is how I will recommend them to you) is read (or look if watching the movie) for the subtleties… she is tying together things she “shares” with you in the first book/movie that come full circle in the last book. In my opinion, that was the brilliant part!! (And no, she didn’t have it pre-planned to that extent when she wrote the first book.). The teen angst is a bit much and “New Moon” (the 2nd book and movie) is REALLY hard to get through… really! But, suffer through because there are worthy payoffs in the 3rd and 4th!! Hopefully you enjoy it and “come over to the dark side” with the rest of us (hehe)

I love the Twlight series but thought the first movie sucked in comparison to the book. Ok, most people say the movie version of anything sucks compared to the book, but this one sucked major to me. So much was left out of the movie that I thought was crucial to the story. I still liked it though…

Oh, great cards! Love the bold new year card.

Love love your cards Michelle! That purple paper is beautiful! Such a deep color!

I am a 40ish twi-mom as well! Hehe. And believe me when I say, I thought the same thing Vampires, REALLY? Ugh no thanks. But those books are ADDICTING! Stephanie Myers is a terrific writer. I with everyone else, you will never love it as much till you read the books!

Send it to ME! I love Twilight. I was a late follower but my 5 best girlfriends got me hooked! I resisted for a while but then when I opened my mind to it then I found it to be alot of fun. The six of us even flew to Toronto in July to meet to watch the new release together. Maybe that is why I do love it so much….cuz I have BFF’s to share it with. That and Edward is HOT! (not the actor (eww) but the vampire!!). And yeah, I’m 40 but who cares. I really need to read the books again!

Vampires. Really. It’s very teenage angst, but you get caught up in it. 😉

I haven’t been”bitten” by the Twilight phenomenon either Michele. I really don’t get all the hype!! But your cards are very cool. I especially like the New Year’s card with the big and bold numbers.
