More embellished Ghirardelli bars.
Posted by Michelle on January 3rd, 2011 . Filed under: American Crafts, Design Team Work, Gift Packaging, Glue Dots .I’m off chocolate. Don’t get me wrong – I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVE chocolate. But I am a severe migraine sufferer and chocolate is one of my trigger foods. So I am doing everything I can to steer clear of all things chocolate – especially in concentrated forms like this. Sad, I know. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t think everyone in the world needs to have a lil’ chocolate some time 😉
So here are a couple quick and easy bars that I embellished for the Glue Dots® Adhesives Design Team.
I get these pretty cheap with my coupons too. They are usually $2.27 or there abouts and I get coupons for $1 off, double that and get them for 27-cents at the most. Sometimes they are down to $2.14ish so even better 😉 I love making these little guys – really fun – and fun to send.

Love the look of your new blog, very bright and cheery on these dark winter days!

I really enjoy how you use the pins! I still have a card you sent me with the awesome pins – one day I will figure them out! I am going out today to get some Christmas candy for Valentines Day! I am also going to use Valentine Day clearance for Ryley’s birthday party in March as Hello Kitty will need red and pink and white goodies!

Wow, Michelle…those are wonderful. I’d hate to open for the chocolate to ruin such beautiful art! 🙂

Beautiful gifts, Michelle! I have a bunch of these crocheted flowers and I’ve been hoarding them terribly! haha! Maybe I’ll pull them out today and play! Thanks for the inspiration!

WOW, awesome packaging! Was just thinking – you sure don’t scrimp on the packaging – awesome flowers, trim & leaves…oh and little pins! I think I would be hoarding these, LOL! And I sure hope I never find out if I am allergic to chocolate. Might cry…lol.

Oooh, chocolate and pretty, pretty packaging – what could be better!!? The first one is fresh and spring like and I love that big bold bow! The flowers on the second are so unique – did you make them? Lovely.

I join you in your chocolate-induced-migraine-pain. Such a sad thing 🙁 But the way you package things is just over-the-top cool. Love all the flower embellishments on these.
Thanks for your opinion on my scrapbook pages. My husband liked the one time deal too and so did my son. I really couldn’t decide, but I appreciated your input. 🙂

Hi Michelle! Migraines here too so i have to really watch the chocolate intake. I cant even have coffee or soda anymore (unless decaf). Totally not worth the pain and tears and 3+day detox. So I feel ya there. These are so gorgeous! GREAT JOB!
