Friends…and CupCards to go.
Posted by Michelle on December 31st, 2010 . Filed under: Cards, Cupcards, Design Team Work, October Afternoon, Valentine's Day, Verve .I wish I could send this card out to everyone who commented yesterday. Y’all are just so sweet. This is on my list of fave cards – I like the flowers and the stitching…and of course you can’t go wrong with October Afternoon patterned paper.
Oh and hey guess what – Miss Sonda from CupCards To Go called me and asked me if I wanted to design for her kit club in 2011. How cool is that? And something else really cool that I never knew – her kits come with card bases. Love that. The matchy-matchy is all done for you. The January kit goes on sale on Monday and this month it’s all about Valentine’s – duh! Here are some sneaky peekies of my cards. You’ll get to see them soon enough 😉
What are your big NYE plans? We’re old farts – game night at home with the kidlets. Heading out to buy fireworks and will do some of those too….in 5 degree weather tonight. Love that they sell fireworks twice a year here though – fun times.

Michelle………This is just lovely!!! Those roses are just so amazing! BTW….I read yesterdays post and you brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for the nudge and push to send out more cards. You are so right and I’m going to try my best to improve that this year! Hugs!

Ooh, gorgeous card – love the big sparkly flowers (I have some, but can’t get myself to put one on a card), stitching and bling! Congrats on the new DT position! And you tease – argh, I want to see those creations now, lol!

Oooh… your Valentine sneek peeks are very intriguing. Can’t wait to see the whole set. Your first card is beautiful – the flowers look real!!
I went back to read your post from yesterday – such a heartfelt message. So sorry that you were not able to connect with your father. The cards you make and send set such a wonderful example to your family and friends – the cards are so beautiful, but the thoughts behind them are so much more precious. Thanks for reminding us to keep those connections.
We are spending New Year’s Eve at home with some great food, a bottle of wine, a roaring fire and good company. Happy New Year – looking forward to more wonderful projects and fun techniques in 2011.
