Bon Voyage!
Posted by Michelle on April 17th, 2011 . Filed under: Personal .You might not know this – OK, you don’t know this – but we have been counting down the days to today for months and months. And it’s finally here. Yesterday we drove from Boise to Las Vegas. And this morning we are making the 4to5-hour drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to hitch a ride on the Disney Wonder. We are cruisers for sure. We took our first cruise last summer – a 7-day cruise to Alaska – and we were hooked. There’s just something about the peacefulness of a cruise. So many times we go on vacation and it’s go-go-go. A cruise is much more chill. If you want to take a cooking class, you can. If you feel like sleeping in, you can. The availability of food 24/7 is this fat girl’s dream come true *giggles*
So yeah. A 10-day cruise to Mexico: Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and a couple of days in Cabo San Lucas. They took Mazatlan off the itinerary and gave us an extra day in Cabo due to safety concerns. So beyond excited. So fortunate. Like I tell my kids – this is why mamma coupons: so that we have extra money to go on vacation.
I pre-scheduled a few posts for when I’m gone so come visit if you have a chance.
Adios, chicas!

I love cruising. One of our cruises was a Disney cruise in the Caribbean. There were some pros and cons, but a visit to the Disney Island was magical. I can still taste the fresh-off-the-tree pineapple. Enjoy those 10 days in paradise.
