Adventures in Couponing.

Kind of a slow week at Albies – even for a doublers week.  But I still managed to get a few things on the cheap or free.  The Fuzes are normally $1.99, on sale for $1.39, I doubled 50-cent off hangtags that were on the bottles and got these for 39-cents each.  Louisiana hot sauce was $2.29, doubled $1 = 29-cents each.  The Zone bars were on sale for $1, doubled 55-cent off coupons and got these free.  The dog food – for the dog that we don’t have – I registered online and they sent me a coupon for a free bag.  The cereal was $4.79, on sale for $2.50, doubled $1-off and got these for 50-cents a box.  And the little Glade plug-in thingies were $2.19, doubled $1-off and got these for 19-cents each.

No, I don’t have a baby and no I ain’t havin’ any more babies – LOL  Although my kids can use the shampoo and the lotions and the bath washes.  Only thing we won’t use would be the baby powder, the baby oil and the Desitin.  I don’t even think I ever used baby oil when they were babies.  But our church does this annual baby shower for young mothers so I’m totally taking baby powder and baby oil sets this year.  Oh yeah – all free at the Rite Aid.  $2.99, get a $2 +Up back = 99-cents each and then use a $1-off Johnson’s coupon on top of that.  I had some more coupons but they were wiped out of all things baby this week, so I have a rain check to go back and get like 17 more things.

Moon Pies.  Sweet Moses who doesn’t love a Moon Pie?!  They were on clearance for 50-cents each so I just bought ’em…thought they would be good snacks for the kids to have at recess.  The Hormel Compleats were $1.99, get $1 +Up back = 99-cents and then use a 55-cent off coupon on top of that making these 44-cents each.  44-cents for a workday lunch is a steal.  And the Sucrets were moneymakers.  On sale for $2.99, get a $2 +Up back = 99-cents and pay with a $1.50-off coupon; they paid me 51-cents on each one.  I love getting paid to shop *giggles*

Speaking of getting paid to shop.  See those funnels in that picture up there?  Well look at this:

Funnels are 89-cents each, and when you buy (2) you get $2 back.  So I spend $1.78, get (2) funnels, and they give me back $2.  Ummm…don’t really need any more funnels, but thanks? – LOL

I made a trip downtown to Winco too because I heard they had Propel water on sale for 48-cents a bottle.

I had a mess of coupons for $1-off (2) bottles.  I got like 42 bottles free.
Sugar-free, 0 calories, and it’s a flavorful way to get the water down.

Doublers at Albertsons start today….and I’m hitting Rite Aid and Walmart for some freebage too.

GAH – more deals! and I don’t get the paying you to buy stuff – they actually give you money to buy products if your coupons/deals go over?!
