Spring joy.

The first day of Spring will be here soon….12 days to be exact (March 20).  I can’t wait.  Just can’t wait.  I think I’m going to go out and buy something extra pastelly and super florally to wear on that day.
This winter was long; too long.

So here’s a fun lil’ bag I embellished with one of my top 5 things I can’t live without:  Glue Dots – for the Glue Dots® Adhesives Design Team.
I used one of my vintage paper sacks, swooshed some acrylic paint around the edges, and then cut banner pieces out of Dear Lizzy fabric sheets using dies from Papertrey Ink .  I used some October Afternoon cardstock alphabet stickers, and American Crafts Thickers and then finished off my banner with buttons from Papertrey Ink.

LOVE your vintage bags (I’m still hoarding mine, rofl)! Beautiful springy design and I’ve got to remember the swooshing of paint!

Lovin’ it- lovin’ spring even more! LOL! I really couldn’t deal with what you gals have to go through in the winter- I honestly don’t think I’d make it! It snowed once here this year and I hated every minute of it! Haha! Beautiful spring inspiration- hopefully it shows its face for you soon!

I love how you do baggies so pretty too! DO you sell this finished product in your store as well??

Spring joy is right! Really neat design overall, and especially with the “spring joy” sentiment–makes me happy just to look at it!

Love it!! I have some of that PP left over from a mini album (that I have not finished) I love how you used it as a banner!
