St. Patrick’s Day sweetness.

I’m not Irish. And even though the t-shirt says “everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day” – I’m really not. I don’t know why I am so adverse to it. I have nothing against the people of Ireland. I just think it’s odd to celebrate the way they do or something. I dunno. That being said – I will have the kiddies wear green to school today and we will be having corned beef and cabbage for dinner tonight – LOL In truth my only rebel act on this day is deliberately choosing to NOT wear green *giggles*
I picked up this cute little package of green ribbon candy on super after-Christmas clearance price, and have been hanging on to it for no real reason. So when the St. Patrick’s Day challenge came down for the Glue Dots® Adhesives Design Team, I just knew I would be working with this fun little piece. I used some springy and green paper from Imaginisce, some fun alphabet letters from Sassafras, and cut the letters out with dies from Papertrey Ink. I REALLY {heart} these number dies….oh and the fun tag die too.

This turned out so cute Michelle! I’m not a big St. Patty’s day fan myself. I don’t really do anything for it… not adverse to it, just not crazy about it.

Love the pinks and greens on your project. I love St. Patrick’s Day – it’s always been a favourite of mine – my first big trip was to Ireland as well!!
Your project really has a spring time feel to it, so no worries if St. Paddy”s Day isn’t one you enjoy. Just celebrate spring!!

Ooh love this! I’m not into St. Patrick’s Day much either, but I did wear green so obnoxious people at work wouldn’t pinch or punch me – cuz then it would get ugly,…in other words, I wore the green so people wouldn’t bother me, LOL! But I LOVE the color green and your creation is so beautiful! I love the design and the colors and ARGH – you did it again, you now got me thinking about getting the tag die…

Well, ya did fine with a St. Paddy’s day assignment, Michelle! Super pretty! I’m not much into the day myself, even though I’m a teeny bit Irish. I even “forgot” to wear green this year. 🙂
