Slow couponing week this week.  But I welcome that every now and again because I don’t have to plan as much, study & analyze as much, run all over town to the different stores so as not to wipe out any one store; slow weeks save me time and gas – and that’s OK….sometimes.  The sale week starting today is a little slower too….but not as slow as last week that’s for sure.

Not too many “fun” things at Rite Aid this week (unless you’re one of those weird people that actually like to clean) – LOL  The Gain fabric softener was $2.69 and I had $3-off coupons making those free.  All the Lysol stuff was  normally priced at $3.49 each, on sale for $1.99 with a $1 +Up back making them 99-cents each.  I had various coupons making some of these 49-cents, some 24-cents and some free.  The vitamins were BOGO and I had a $3-off coupon paired with a Rite Aid Video Values coupon making them free.  The Veet was $5.84 and I had a $3-off coupon paired with an in-ad $3-off coupon making these free.  The Doctor’s Nightguard (to help with grinding your teeth in your sleep) was $24.99 on sale for $18.74, I had a $5-off coupon making it $13.74 and got a $15 +Up back making this a $1.16 moneymaker.  The Starburst was 50-cents, I had a 25-cent off Rite Ad VV coupon making this 25-cents which isn’t a hot deal, but Starburst are yummy 🙂

The Resolve were $3.79 on sale for $1.99 get $1 +Up back = 99-cents each.  I had coupons for $1.50 off and some for 75-cents off, so I got about half of these for 24-cents each and the other half were a 51-cent moneymaker which offset the 24-cents on the others so these all were free in the end.  The Reach toothbrushes were $3.99, on sale for $1.99 get $1 +Up back = 99-cents each.  I had $1-off coupons making these all free.  I totally missed another hot Rite Aid deal this week…not sure how…but there were some BOGO nail things that I had BOGO coupons for and didn’t realize until yesterday and I was too lazy to get my fat butt down there to get them; ah well, more for others.

I knew I was going to go to Walmart to get some produce because I missed out on signing up for our Bountiful Basket last week.  And I also knew there was a moneymaker at Walgreens.  So I went there first to get some money to spend at Walmart – LOL!  They had these Tena pads that were on sale for $9.99 get a $10 Register Rewards back.  I had a $2.50-off coupon, and I paid with previous Register Rewards, so I bought something, paid with RRs, and left with the pads and $10 to spend at the Walmart.

Produce was the price that it was, but the Gain dryer sheets were moneymakers per the new Walmart coupon policy.  These were $1.87 each and my coupons were for $3-off = $1.13 on each x 4 = $4.52 overage to go towards payment of other things on the order.

I also had $2-off Silk milk making those $1.08 each which I thought would be cheap chocolate milk for the kiddies.  One loves it and the other hates it – at least it was cheap.  So my total before coupons for the above and the milks below was $31.97; after coupons and Wags’ RRs I paid $6.97.

Easter candy comin’ up next week:  lots of it! 🙂
