Birthday boy + great/cheap gift idea.

And we have had 2 days of INCREDIBLE weather here in the ‘ho which has really put a spring in my step. I got home from work yesterday evening, had our Friday night lenten fish dinner with baby asparagus, and then went to the ol’ craft table and created something so fun that I can’t wait to share with you soon. I hope your weekend is springlike and productive and maybe even fun too!
Up today is a fun lil’ boy birthday card I made featuring patterned papers and chipboard from My Mind’s Eye. Just for fun I added glitter to the banner, and then added the birthday sentiment with some teeny alphas from Glitz Design. And yes, as Jilliebee noted, I was never a glitter fan, but that was then and this is now and glitter went from like my top 100 list to my top 5 list almost overnight.

This card is so much fun. The flourish reminds me of one of those little horns you blow and the paper unrolls. I used to love playing operation. Guess that game has been around for a LONG time.
