Adventures in Couponing.

Another slow week *yawn*  And my Rite Aid list for the sale that starts today is pretty sparse, however there are doublers at Albertsons starting today, so I think there’ll be a good share here on the ol’ blog next week 😉

The Old Spice deodorant and body washes were free.  Kind of complicated, but buy (2) of each and combine dollar-off coupons with buy (1) and get the other free, and then get $2 +Ups back made them all free.  Father’s Day is coming up – perfect gift for my father-in-law.  The Neutrogena soaps were $2.99 each and with the sale and +Ups back, I got them for 58-cents each.  The Tums were $5 each, on sale for $4 each, and then with manufacturer and Rite Aid Video Values coupons I got them for $1.50 each.  The Desitin was free from a rain check I had where they were 99-cents and I had one last $1-off coupon.

The Airwicks were a moneymaker – we like moneymakers 😉  Another complicated one, but they were $9.99, on sale for half price = $4.99, I used $4-off manufacturer coupons which made them 99-cents each, and then got back $6 on my (4) for a $2 moneymaker.  The Vitality gum – really, that’s the name?  Doesn’t that sound like a name for some sort of men’s something something product?  But for gum?  Weird.  Anyway – LOL!  They were on sale BOGO and I had coupons for BOGO which = all free.

Then I took a trip to the Walmart because you get more bang for your buck there when couponing and I had more of the Gain dryer sheet coupons that I make $1 each on, so I had to be sure and use those before they expired.  I’ll just show you what I got.  Oh – and I have to tell you:  the Wonder cinnamon raisin muffins aren’t good.  Leave the English muffin thing to Thomas’.

I’m still not completely fine with buying meat at the Walmart.  But this was a hot deal.  I had coupons for 50-cents off KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce.  And then I had coupons for $2-off pork when you bought the KC Masterpiece.  And I was able to buy clearance pork, so it was a really good deal…even if it’s not prime piggy.

So here’s my before.

And after coupons.

Alright – now be sure and come back tomorrow because I have a deal for you.
Especially if you like to bake.
It’s a hot deal; just for you!

Hi Michelle! I do so love your “coupon adventures”! (I ‘m goofy that way lol!) Also love your cards cuz I stamp too! Anyway, not sure if you’ll see this, but I had my first issue with Wal Mart just the other day. I have ALWAYS combined price matching with MQs, but that day they said I could do one or the other, but not both. I was in shock. I mean, in the 10 years or so that I’ve shopped there ,this was a first. Any thoughts? Thanks for your cool blog!
