Sorry my coupon post is up late today.  I had a hot date last night – with a very handsome fella.

$20 for crazy Elton John light-up glasses; that’s what our coupon savings go towards 😉

Thank you, Albertsons for double coupons!  Let’s just dive right in.
The cereal and milk deal was an advertised deal that was pretty hot even without coupons, then add in coupons and double them and we’ve got a smokin’ hot deal.  Cereal was on sale (3) for $5 and when you buy (3) you get a gallon of milk free.  That is a great non-coupon deal!  I did better than that though – I had some $1 off (1)  and $1 off (2) coupons that I doubled, so I ended up with (3) boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $1.33 and (4) boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $2.67; hot, I said.

I don’t even have a cat.  But I know someone who does.  The Friskies cat treats were $1.99, doubled $1 and they were all free.  The box cat food was $2.49 and there were $3-off coupons in the paper, so those were free also.

The Ritz were $3.59, on sale for $2.49, doubled $1 and those were 49-cents each.  The Keebler caddies were $6.39, on sale for $3.99, the fine folks at Keebler sent me a couple of coupons for giving product feedback, so those were free (perfect for when it’s our turn for snack at soccer which started yesterday).  The McCormick packs were $1.89, doubled $1 and they were all free.  And the “hey Kool Aid!” were 5-cents each after coupons and we don’t drink this but I thought I could put them in prettied-up glassine bags and send to my niece and nephew sometime this summer.

I have heard rave reviews about these Mr. Clean Magic Eraser things so I figured it was time to try them.  They were $3.49, on sale for $2.79, doubled 75-cents and they were $1.29 each which is worth it if they are as good as everyone says they are.  The Eucerin was free – trial size and I doubled the “$1 off ANY Eucerin product” coupon.  Same for the Shout.

Totally free soup.  $2.99, on sale for $1, I had coupons for $1 off (2) which I doubled and got all these for free.

And then there was Rite Aid.  The hair things were producing a $2 +Up before the sale started as part of a monthly promo.  So I got these for free as they were a little over $2, take off my 10% discount because I have reached the spending in a year mark and get that all the time now, so these were free.  Then when the sale started they were $1.99 and get a $1.99 +Up back, so free some more.  The NYC nail polish was 40% off and I had $1.50 off (2) so I got these for….I’m not sure because I can’t find my receipt, but I want to say 50-cents each which isn’t a steal, but I love the rainbow thing and they are going to be great in the basket from the Easter bunny.

This nasal thing was $6 get $6 back, so I got one.  My husband has sinus issues all the time, so I thought why not get it and see what it’s about.  The Gillette razors will be for my brother, I made $1.02 on them after all my coupons and +Ups back.  And the Snickers eggs were $2/1 and I had $1 off (2) coupons.  I have gotten about 60+ of these for free over the past few weeks between Rite Aid and Walgreens, perfect for church classes.

And the Purex Crystals.  Have you tried these?  They are a.w.e.s.o.m.e.  I tried one a while back with Rite Aid when they were free.  And I’m hooked – so their ploy worked.  This week they were $2.99 at Target – a store that I find much too difficult to coupon at – but I had $2-off coupons, and I found a $1 Target coupon, so I got (1) for free and the rest were 99-cents each which I will pay that for because I just love how soft and fresh-smelling my clothes are coming out!
