Birthday Wishes & Cupcake Dreams.

I’m back today with a lil’ birthday card I whipped up for this month’s Creative Buzz challenge.
As I’ve said before:  I don’t do challenges.  But this one was easy – just make a birthday card; I knew I could do that! 😉  Although I was just reading Anna’s post and it says “so pull out your stamps and show us what you got!” and, um, I didn’t really stamp here….because I kinda don’t stamp all that much.
Ah well, it’s still a birthday card so I’m callin’ it compliant!

American Crafts patterned paper and chipboard, and some yummy chocolatey ribbon from May Arts.

Your creations always seem to have food trigger for me, Michelle! I’m not sure what it is, but I think of words like yummy, and luscious… I know it’s cupcakes, but that brown ribbon bow made me think of creamy chocolate fudge.
I’m glad you don’t decorate cakes. I’d really be in trouble.

Michelle…I love how you think outside the box with your cards! No need to stamp, you pulled off the birthday theme just fine! I like just being able to post a birthday card and not worry about the “challenge” piece as well! great job!

That adorable paper and sumptuous ribbon go together so wonderfully in your hands, Michelle. The chipboard cupcake is the perfect finishing touch.
