I ♥ me some S’mores.

Well you know what, it doesn’t take a lot of time to be thoughtful. I love creating memories for my kids. Just making the mundane a little special. We took the trailer out for the first time this year and are away for this holiday weekend. I’ve got my Big Shot with me and will be diecutting away for some future projects though 😉
Anyway. I thought it’d be fun to package up the Hershey’s for the s’mores in to little packages for the trip. I think the kids will get a kick out of them. Didn’t take me any time at all, not a major work of art or anything either, but from momma with love and that’s what’s important.
I just took a tall/thin glassine bag and then layered on some patterned paper and stickers from October Afternoon’s Campfire collection with my beloved Glue Dots Dot N Go roller and then I tucked some chunky May Arts ribbon on the inside (small piece folded and attached with another Glue Dot), popped in my Hershey bar, tied some twine around for a lil’ rustic action and we’re done.
What about you? Doing anything exciting?
I really do love to read your comments, so tell me about your weekend?

What a great event for the long weekend! And your posts like this always make me feel inadequate, lol. I mean, you packaged & decorated the hershey bars for the s’mores for your kiddos, lol. What a sweet mama! We’re playiing it by ear this weekend. The last few weeks have been crazy hectic busy so we’re trying to relax, unwind and catch our breath..

What a fun way to do some packaging for s’mores. Your kids are gonna love it, I’m sure! Have fun “camping.” We don’t have a lot going on to celebrate the holiday, I’m just glad our summer has officially started!

OMG I love this paper line and I love what you did with it. It’s so cute it makes me want to go camping just to do a scrapbook page.
