My brush with fame.

Well, I’m a NASCAR fan. I’ll admit it. Moved to the ‘ho and became all redneck like that. Love it.  I’m a Casey Mears fan. But like my 49ers, we’ve had some sorry seasons as of late. But that’s OK. I’m no fairweather fan!
So I mentioned before that I’m on Twitter. Fun little social media thing it is. Keep up with your friends and famous folk. If you’re in to Real Housewives, a lot of them are on Twitter. So are a lot of celebrities like Lady Gaga…the Kardashian girls, and more. And then there’s famous athletes. I like to follow some of the NASCAR drivers.  They are so down-to-earth, and country humor makes me laugh. So Monday, Jimmie Johnson – who I am so tired of – posts a tweet about Casey Mears giving his (Jimmie’s) daughter a birthday gift. He gave her this little pink and purple dirt bike thing.  I messaged him back. And….see below…he messaged ME back!
Of all the million people following him, he messaged me.
Ol’ Five-Time ain’t so bad after all.

Okay seriously….THAT was too cool! Can I just say that would have made my week! Too funny! By the way – did you ever call your son about the remote? 🙂
