July CARDs – Cosmo Cricket & Graphic 45.
Posted by Michelle on August 18th, 2011 . Filed under: Cards, Cosmo Cricket, Graphic 45, Published Work .And finally, the last couple of cards that I had in the July issue of CARDs magazine.
The first one is a Cosmo Cricket card and the second is a Graphic 45 card.
You know what’s funny is that when I first got in to cardmaking I totally hated chipboard and diecuts.
I think I was forcing myself to be in this mold of having to stamp and having to make your own backgrounds, etc. But after being so frustrated and unhappy with the process and the work I was turning out, I found myself. I am not a stamper, I am a cardmaker, and that’s OK. I love patterned paper and I am not ashamed of that at all. There are going to be people who do not like your work. In my case they may say I have too much stuff going on. In the case of others, it’s too clean or too simple. Different strokes for different folks. But as long as you are having fun with the creative process, and you find joy in making & giving, that’s all that matters.
