Ellie’s Birthday.
Posted by Michelle on September 6th, 2011 . Filed under: Birthday, Cards, Design Team Work, Glitz Design .One of my favorite parts of being a mom is birthdays. Theirs, mine and others’. I love the little cards and presents the kids make me for my birthday. I love planning and making invites and handmade goody bags for their birthday parties. And I love it when they are invited to a birthday party and I get to make the gift. My little girl asks me to make these little journals when she goes to birthday parties. I’m sure when she gets a little bit older these won’t be cool enough to give anymore. But for now, I’m enjoying it.
So I made this one for Ellie’s 8th birthday this weekend. I think little girls love personalized gifts so I added her name to this very girly place for her to write down her thoughts and secrets.
I used a 6″ Whatnot folded in half to make a quick little coordinating card.
One stamp and a few bits of embellishing and we’re ready for the party.

What a sweet gift and card, Michelle. Love all the vintage pictures on the journal – reminds me of the old elementary reading books!! Guess if I remember those I must be vintagey too! LOL
