Exhausting.  That’s all I have to say about this particular couponing week.  Lotttttts of trips.
Wrote a song about it, like to hear it?  Here it goes!
(2 points to anyone cool enough and old enough to remember what the was from :))

Been a while since I went to Albertsons on a double couponing week.  I actually didn’t go this week either – I sent my husband.  Our brand of toilet paper was on sale at an OK price, but with a $10 Catalina back going towards the next order, so we had to take advantage.  Bought the toilet paper, and then used the $10 back to get these Off! clip-on thingies that he found on clearance and said would be great for camping and even better because they were all free with that Catalina.  The Crest toothpaste was $2.79, on sale for $1, doubled 50-cents and got these for free.  Same scenario with the Oral B toothbrushes.  The Garnier and the International Cafes were $4.79 and $4.29, on sale for $2.50, doubled $1 and got these all for 50-cents each.

Then it was off to the Walmart.  Sweet mother of overage!  These little Axe products were 97-cents each and I had (21) coupons for $1.50 off any Axe product.  That gave me $11.13 in overage going to the rest of my order.  The Schick shavers were $1.97 and I had coupons for $2 off so that’s another 30-cents in overage.  I had $4-off Hawaiian Tropic coupons that I’ve been hesitant to use on the $7.97 products but now with this overage, I could get them for free and still have another $3.49 to play with.  I bought some Dubble Bubble that I took to the office before I got pictures taken.

And then I’ve got a couple of double coupon purchases from the Walmart.  Classico tomato puree is a new product for $2.23; doubled 55-cents and got them for $1.13 each.  Spaghettios were 27-cents each after doublers and S&W beans were 18-cents after doublers.

More free Sure deodorant after doubling $1.  New flavor of Best Foods mayonnaise was 12-cents after doubling $1.  Rhodes rolls were 12-cents a bag after doubling $1.  And Folgers instant sticks were 30-cents each after doubling – giving my mom a stocking full of these things for cheap and free for Christmas.

Up next is Walgreens.  And right about here is where my husband told me I have a problem – LOL!

Depend kits were $2.49 each and they had a $3-off coupon in each bag which made them free (but I had to open each bag).  And and and – when you bought 4 bags you got $4 back.  So!  I made $36 on 37 bags (not sure how I got 1 extra?).  Sidenote: I need to find a place to donate these to.  Someone suggested a hospice place but I am thinking they would use them and still charge the patient?  Any ideas?  If not, I guess I’ll give them to the church to find someone who can use them.

Cottonelle is not our brand of toilet paper, but for the kids, it doesn’t matter just so long as it’s cheap 😉
And these were $5 each, I used a 50-cent off coupon plus a $1 store coupon and then I got $3 back for every 2 which made these $2 each.

Colgate was 2 for $6, get $4 back and then there was a $1 coupon in a little book at the pharmacy which made these free after everything was taken in to account.  Dentek flossers were 25-cents each after coupons and RRs, and the TheraMax was $7.99 get $8 back.

Hard to come by cheap tomato sauce anymore but these were 3/$1 and used as my filler item so they were free.

I love love these new Kleenex Cool Touches.  They were 50-cents each after RRs and coupons but because I am paying with RRs from transaction to transaction, I’m not really spending any new money.  The Brach’s were for a Halloween thing at the office so I added them in because they were on sale and I could pay with/earn RRs.

More free pads to donate.  Free Miralax.  And then a bunch of filler items – if I need to spend a little more to get me to be able to use a RR to pay with, I’ll throw in a cheap little something to get me over that and then end up having to pay only a few cents out of pocket for the entire order.  Those little sets of knives were on clearance for 25-cents a pack and are great to have in the trailer.

If memory serves, that would be Eddie Murphy RAW. I hope I’m right ’cause I heard you recite it enough throughout college.
Not a problem, as long as you use your power for good. LOL
BTW, we could use the Depends for men down here. I could give you the cost of shipping. 😀

You probably won’t even see this Michelle, but I know your funny little song quote was from the early nineties show In Living Color! I just can’t remember the character’s name. Love seeing your coupon “hauls”!
