So I have that little Swagbucks button over there on the right-hand rail.  And I’ve talked about Swagbucks a time or two and I know a few of you have signed up for it.  But as I’m wrapping Christmas presents – things that I got on the super cheap – I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been able to score just from using Swagbucks as my search engine.

My kids love Phineas and Ferb.  I think it’s because they are a lot like them.  A boy that’s up to no good and a sister that’s always trying to get him in trouble!  The movie was $13.99 at Amazon.com, I used (2) of my $5 Amazon cards bought with Swagbucks and got it for $3.99.

My son is big in to space and planets and the space shuttle program.  I found this Star Trek DVD for $5.45, used a $5 Amazon card and paid 45-cents out of pocket.

A nice, hardcover LEGO book for my son and the Wizard of Oz DVD for my daughter along with some little books for their stockings.  $26.23, I used (5) $5 Amazon.com cards and paid $1.23 out of pocket for it all.

Miracle on 34th Street DVD I bought for us all to watch together.  Price on that was $6.99.  I used a $5 Amazon.com card and paid $1.99 out of pocket.

And then I just heard the other day about this hot deal on Crunch & Munch.  $6.40 for 12 boxes!  That’s 53-cents a box.  Which they do sometimes go down to.  But ordering from Amazon and using a $5 Amazon.com card, I only paid $1.40 out of pocket which made them 12-cents each for me.  I’m gonna use this for Christmas and fancy it up with crushed candy canes and melted chocolate and caramel in it.

Currently Swagbucks has a new member offer.  If you use the code SBPAYSFORME when you sign up by 11/23, you will start off with 110 Swagbucks!  It only takes 450 to get a $5 Amazon.com card.  This is the best sign-up special I’ve ever seen.  So get on board with Swagbucks and start saving up those Amazon.com cards for next Christmas; you’ll be glad you did 😉
Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
