Teacher Christmas gifts.

I really don’t like giving gift cards as gifts.  They just don’t seem that fun to open.  But in the case of teachers (and my teenage nephews), gift cards are pretty much the best if not the only option.  So when I am giving a gift card I like to give a little gift with it just so that it feels more presenty to me.  I found these Christmas-patterned scissors on clearance at Office Depot last year and bought all of them – they were like 60-cents each.  So I decided to give the school teachers a pair of those along with a gift card to Staples.  And then I wrapped them up all craftylike and off they went in to the backpacks never to look the same again – LOL!

Graphic 45 patterned paper & chipboard, diecut by My Mind’s Eye, some vintage lace I picked up at an antique shop topped with some May Arts ribbon, and finished off with some old pins from Making Memories.

I see a problem here….with such pretty wrapping I would NOT want to open the gift and wreck the packaging….lol
