Valentine’s tag.

It’s looking to be Valentine’s week here on the ol’ blog.  Because I’m a working mom, I have to start on gifts and cards and tags at least a month in advance.  And truth be told, I was diecutting things for Valentine’s over Christmas vacation.  Just so many things I want to do and make and so little time, so early early early and planning planning planning is the name of the game for me.  I like to make tags, and I like to have several ready for an upcoming holiday to easily attach to something for a quick gift – a box of candy, tie on to a bottle of sparkling juice or some shower gel.  A quick and easy gift, but still with that heartfelt & handcrafted way about it.

So today I’m sharing a fun little tag made with the Paper Heart collection from Crate Paper.
I love how their collections have all the usual colors for a particular holiday and then they spin off that with some different/muted/70s flair colors.  That great vintage yellow button and the pre-threaded wood button are from A Million Memories; she’s got the neatest mix of vintage lace and tinsel trims and beads and buttons and baubles.
I wish she had a “real” store, I would wander through it for hours….

Awesome tag. Love the non-traditional colors. That heart border is to die for with the different colored/patterned hearts.

Loveliness indeed! What pre-threaded buttons? You have no idea how often I have sighed because I hate that part. LOL Lazy of me I know. The die cut banner is sweet. Again, I haven’t got the knack of these die cuts but you have used them wonderfully. Fab tag Divine Miss M.
