You are so nice.
Posted by Michelle on February 2nd, 2012 . Filed under: Cards, Doodlebug, Paper Smooches .I’ve got a little “branching out” card to share with you today. Ever since I got in to cardmaking, I really only used one brand of cardstock and mostly one brand of stamps (for all the stamping that I don’t really do). But I’ve been noticing this textured cardstock and thought it was finally time to dabble and try it. So this green textured, shiny cardstock is from Bazzill. I love the color…the shine….and the texture. What I don’t like however is that it’s not as heavy as the cardstock that I’m used to. Not sure if I’ll get used to it and learn to like that or not; we’ll see. And then on top of the new there, I also bought my first set of stamps from Paper Smooches. Loved this little sentiment set, love Kim Hughes’ handwriting; and the quality of these stamps is equal to what I was used to. So definitely a good choice there. All this with some fun Doodlebug paper and a cute cuppie pin from American Crafts – – and, it’s almost Friday!

This is such a fun card. I love that cupcake paper. I agree with you about the Paper Smooches stamps. I only have the sentiment sets, and LOVE them all. They are all so fun–the perfect touch for your whimsical card.

This is really cute! Way back in the dark ages when I scrap booked I used Bazzill. At the time I thought it was the best thing going… but then I when I started stamping I hooked up with PTI and now I can’t use anything else for cards. I have tons of Bazzill just looking at me and I always go for the PTI. I love doodlebug paper! I so wish they would come out with 6×6 pads. Anyway cute little card you have there!
