Valentine gift tags.

A gal I work with has 3 little boys who she is going to be putting together Valentine gift bags for.  I told her I would make some taggies to tie on to each one.  Because, in case you hadn’t heard, I kinda love me some tags.  I was a little challenged at first because these are for boys so I didn’t want them to be too foofy or glittery or have doilies on them.  But then decided to just go with it because it’s Valentines and everything Valentine is going to be lovey and sweet anyway.

I went with Echo Park’s Valentine collection because it’s got that black and red all throughout instead of a more pastelly girly pink.  And then I die cut the tags and applied stickers and some more diecuts and some fun faux stitching.

I topped my tags off with 2 fun red and white trims from May Arts.  And you know what I love about red and white things?  Is that you can use them for Christmas….and Valentines….and 4th of July. Make that money go farther, girls! 😉
I threaded this great stitched-edge grosgrain ribbon through the hole at the top (leaving the tails nice and long so she can make them as short/long as she needs when she ties them on the bags) and then I finished that off with this fun nylon twisted rope.
