Valentine gifts.

Today I’m sharing some little Valentine presents that I got and packaged up all craftylike for the girls at the office.  Costume jewelry is so in right now, and around here we are lovin’ those fun big rings with the stretchy bands.  I actually saw some at JC Penney and sent my husband back to pick them up for the girls.  He found 3 of them – on clearance for $4 each; score!  This is one of them, and I reallllly hope he picked one up for me too!

I wanted to wrap my pretty little boxes in some patterned paper, but because they were so small, and the patterned paper so thick, it was kind of a pain in the…  So instead I made use of the front sheet that comes with paper collections.  It’s a flimsy, shiny sheet showing all the patterns.  And it folded like a dream!

I was able to use the top half of 2 of them for 2 of the boxes, and then I had to use the bottom half on the other – and it showed a little bit of the paper company information, but I don’t even think she’ll notice with all the different prints and patterns going on.

I tied some pretty ribbon around the box, punched a scalloped oval to make the tag, and then embellished with twine and pins and diecuts and stickers.  I can’t wait for Tuesday to get here and put these on their desks before they get there!
