These are the Days.

How’s it goin’?  Did you have a great St. Patrick’s Day?  Ours was…um….not good.  My aunt hosted dinner, and it was a complete trainwreck.  My mother was going to take key lime pie from Marie Callender’s, but she thought they would be about 2 for $15.  I told her they were going to be more like 2 for $30 and so I went and picked up some fun green cookies and other treats that were within her budget.  Well, my aunt wasn’t cool with that at all.  She went completely off the rails and humiliated my mother in front of everyone including my kids (which I am not cool with).  She told her that was like inviting people over for corned beef and serving hamburger.  Seriously?  We’re making people feel bad over a pie?  So then after that the e-mails started flying.  And now everything completely unrelated to the dinner and pie is being dredged up by my aunt (pretty much my aunt vs. me and my mom).  Over a pie.  So…yeah.  That was my weekend.  And today I woke up to another nasty e-mail so I just told her not to contact me again.  I really hate drama and I don’t have room for it in my life.

Moving right along….are you feeling this whole woodgrain trend?  I’m not sure that I am, but I did like this sticker.  And more yummy textured Bazzill cardstock.  Branching out is a good thing 😉

Sorry about the drama at dinner. Not cool for sure! If you feel that you don’t need it, then yep….leave it. Good for you! There are a few things I’d splurge on but pie is not one of them. Maybe Vernors? hehe!

That cardstock is great! I need to dig in my drawers to get some out. I always forget about it until I see you use it!!!

I really thought I was reading about MY family. Drama every single event over here. I stopped dealing with it and maybe that’s why we don’t get invited alot 🙂 Saves me and my family grief. The emails…so hate those.

I just purchased my first order from you guys and am anxiously awaiting my package! So glad I found your site!

Thank heavens that’s over. Green cookies sounded kind of fun to me. Onwards and upwards. You do such fun things with stickers. I am so unco with them. Not a good look. Pity crumpled stickers isn’t the trend. I’d be right there if so. 😉

[…] Happy Sunday! We’ve got a busy but fun day planned starting with green waffles and green milk.  Then it’s off to a screening of The Croods that I scored passes for (from gofobo).  The kids think they are so special seeing a movie 5 days before it comes out.  And then we’ll do corned beef & cabbage and key lime pie here at the house tonight with my mom.  Didn’t want to do the whole family as we don’t want a repeat of what happened last year.
