Adventures in Couponing.

Ohhhh sweet mother of couponing was this a crazy weekend.  A lot of couponing going on at 2 Walmarts, 2 Albertsons trips, Walgreens, and Fred Meyer.  I feel like we were couponing for 48 hours straight.  Insane.
Today I’m sharing the biggest part – the Walmarts – so off we go.

Have you tried these little Banquet fruit pies yet?  I did a long time ago when they first came out.  Got some coupons and bought some little apple pies for the 4th of July.  They ended up being 38-cents each.  And then these IHOP breakfasts that I scored for 27-cents each a few weeks back.  They had coupons on the box that I used on this trip and got more for 27-cents each.  And then the Tai Pei chicken egg rolls that I tried – and love because they have such a mild flavor.  Sometimes egg rolls have a spice that I don’t like…not sure what it is…maybe it’s that Chinese 5 spice or whatever?  Anyway, these egg rolls I like – and only $1.47 when doubled (the price went up A LOT since buying a couple weeks ago, but these are still a cheap lunch for me).

Totally free.  All of it.  I’ll donate a good amount of the Curad stuff to the school.  And the STP – did you know you have to put this in when you fill up your tank?  I don’t do the ol’ fill-up.  I’m notorious for only putting in $10-$20 at a time.  Just lazy.  Ah well.  I guess I’ll have to try the fill-er-up for this thing to work.

37-cent tuna (the coupon values are going down so not as cheap as in the past, but still cheap enough), 57-cent taco sauce, 78-cent salsa, totally free enchilada sauce, 25-cent beans, and free marinades.

Totally free – all of it.  More pads for the donation box, and we never ever have batteries when we need them.

030 copy

87-cent Charmin, free Gain dish soap, $1.99 Purex, and free crock-pot liners.

032 copy

97-cent Garniers, free cat food for the donation box, and 22-cent Pupperoni (my aunt pays me to get her things on my coupon trips).

We’re running way low on cereal.  And way low means we only have about 50 boxes.  And when we only have 50 boxes they are all the flavors that the kids don’t love.  So I paid a little more than normal on some of these.  Honey Bunches of Oats – the family size ones in the back – were 88-cents, the rest were more like $1.25.  I’ve been slack on following cereal deals lately so that is back on my radar.

$1.50 for Orville Redenbacher popcorns, $1 crackers, and 78-cent Combos.

042 copy

Free King’s Hawaiian buns, 68-cent Quaker fruit bits (peelies on the boxes for $1-off, doubled those),
and free Milky Ways.

045 copy

25-cent Libby’s vegetables, and 52-cent olives.  Stock-up prices for me.

051 copy

$1.40 for bagels (peelies on the package), 50-cent V8 smoothies, 98-cent Ocean Spray, and 12-cent pears.

055 copy

98-cent Fusion yogurt drinks, 23-cent Laughing Cow cheeses, 75-cent yogurts, 87-cent cheeses, FREE BUTTER! (I never get real butter for free!), 48-cent sour cream, and $1.98 ricotta (love having this on-hand so I’m starting to take just 1 coupon for this with me each time).
