Delightful romance.

TGIF!
I asked my son if he knew what today was.  And he said “my birthday?”  Uh, no.  So then he says “10 days ’til my birthday?”  Well, kind of, but no.  “It’s mom and dad’s anniversary!  Guess how long we’ve been married.”  “27 years?”  Um, hi that would mean we got married when I was….like 13.  So anyway, today is our 16th wedding anniversary.  My mom’s taking the kids, and my husband and I are doing dinner and a movie.  We’re going to the Melting Pot for fondue. It’s spendy, but I joined their e-mail club just for the occasion and that’s going to score me free chocolate-covered strawberries.  As for the movie, we have 2 free movie tickets – LOL – but there aren’t really any good movies out except for Magic Mike which I am dyingggggg to see but I’m not sure that’s a go-see-on-your-anniversary-with-your-husband kinda movie  😉

Today’s card features patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket, some fun May Arts music note ribbon, a little Maya Road heart pin, and some American Crafts sentiment stickers.  Have a great Friday!

Happy Anniversary! Enjoy your very special day! I am with you on that movie… kind of want to see it, but not with hubby! LOL! The new Spiderman movie was really good.
Lovely card. The papers are so pretty and I love the ribbon treatment. I think I got this ribbon because I saw you use it on some of your projects! :o)
