Wrapping up nail polish.
Posted by Michelle on September 11th, 2012 . Filed under: Design Team Work, Gift Packaging, Glue Dots, Whisker Graphics .Before I had kids, I was on the ball. Birthday cards and gifts were out and on time if not early. But now, I am so behind. I’ve always had a full-time job, but now the kids have school, and then church classes, and soccer practice, and soccer games, and Boise State football games, and and and… I’m sure I’m not the only one in this boat, am I right? I still have my great system in place, I just am too lazy to use it. I have all these great ideas on what I’ll do tonight when I get home from work but then when the time comes, I’d rather just put on my jammies and watch some reality TV. So, I am late on a lot of things – like thank-yous and birthdays. But, I keep the list going, and scratch one item off almost every weekend.
Today’s gifts are birthday gifts for my cousin’s girls down in New Mexico. I think their birthdays were April and May. Yup. We’re behind. So I rounded up all the free Sally Hansen nail polish I got couponing and got it all pretty packaged up in some Bigger Bitty Bags. The way I shop, the postage almost always costs more than the gift, and this one is a classic example – ha!
I die cut bag toppers; easy to pop on with Glue Dots®.
Threaded ribbon through my toppers; matched up some Divine Twine, and bingo cards.
Embellished with pretty flowers.
And they are on their way to New Mexico!
