For the teachers.

But we have a long weekend, so I guess that makes up for it. Maybe. Or not. Anyway. We are off to Utah for the weekend – shopping, eating, shopping, eating, and Lagoon. I can’t wait to get the heck outta dodge.
Sharing today the teacher gifts I sent with the kids on the first day of school. My daughter has 2 teachers that split the week, so I got them each a set of those Bic Mark-its on the cheap, and packaged them up all prettylike in bags from my shoppe topped with lots of Echo Park Paper stuffs.
My son has a male teacher this year. First male teacher for us. Kinda different. Hard to buy for. We got him some $14 Uniball pens for 24-cents – heh. I packaged them up in a bag from Whisker Graphics, and quickly embellished it with more Echo Park Paper goodness.
And we had a FAIL on this one. My son gave his teacher the gift I had sent for him and not the gift I had sent for the teacher. Duh. So the next day he had to go back and ask for the multi-colored pens that I had gotten him and hand over the Uniballs. Boys aren’t very smart, I say. And the teacher didn’t even think why is Daniel’s name on the front of the bag? Ah well.

Oh, Michelle, a little embarrassing, but since it’s kids . . . hopefully Daniel’s teacher is is smiling. 🙂 I love the teacher-y goodness of your bags, especially the apple green color on Kayleigh’s and the schoolhouse chipboard or sticker on Daniel’s! What a nice idea.

Wow! i haven’t been by in awhile (beginning of school year= me crazy) you have had so much good stuff the last few days. Your kids party look amazingly fun! Nice of the cops to stop by after the business was handled. These bags are awesome! Like everything about them! My son has a male teacher this year and made me swear I would not make him anything. So I didn’t. I guess it will be a starbucks card at Christmas. LOL
