He’s only been here a week and I’ve already seen a big difference – not a good one. Isn’t it hard seeing people you love become a totally different person? Not the funny, upbeat character he used to be. And my kids didn’t really know him because he lived in California and now they are warming up to him and he’s going to be gone soon. This will be their first exposure to death. I suppose they were going to have to deal with it eventually. {sigh}
Up today is a little get well soon card. I need to send out more cards – don’t we all? I get in to good grooves of sending them out, and then fall out for a long while. But tonight I have several packages I am finishing up to send out, and some cards too. It’s been too long and I want to send some sunshine.

This is a really pretty card! I love the lace border. Sorry your uncle is not getting better, its so hard to watch people you love decline. 🙁

Very pretty Michelle. Love the deep colors and lovely embellishments. Hope you and the kids get to spend some quality time with your uncle, so he will live in your memories (and heart).

Such a pretty card! Yes this will be hard, my sister had lung and bone cancer, it was very hard. Sorry!
