ButterfingerCaramelCorn

No, I’m not becoming a food blogger.  But I made something so incredibly bomb, I just had to share.  I finally joined the world of Pinterest.  Been resisting the urge forever.  But ultimately could not resist.  And I came across a recipe for Butterfinger caramel corn.  But the person didn’t have the measurements, and wanted you to make homemade caramel.  What the heck? and not happenin’.  So I freestyled, and made my own – the semi-homemade way 😉

This is my recipe for the most bomb Butterfinger caramel corn in the history of everness.  And I’m no recipe writer, so work with me here.

2 bags of microwaved popcorn (normal size)
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. water
1 14 oz. bag of Kraft caramels
1 10 oz. bag of Butterfinger Bites

Pop popcorn.
Melt butter with water on low in a saucepan.  Unwrap caramels, eat 2 of them :), and add the rest to the saucepan until melted down.
Smash bag of Butterfinger Bites with a rolling pin, mallet, whatever.
Toss popcorn in a big bowl with the melted caramel sauce.  Coat well.  Then throw in the Butterfinger goodness and combine it all together.
Spray a baking pan with some Pam and spread the popcorn mess all over it.  Pop it in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes, then take it out and toss it a bit and put it back in for another 10 minutes.  Let cool, break up, enjoy.  It’s sum good.
