Happy cards.

Filed under: Cards, Jenni Bowlin, My Mind's Eye .I’ve seen folks make cards out of patterned paper – like not using a cardstock base – and that’s always intrigued me. I’ve always thought that patterned paper was too flimsy to use as a cardbase though. But I had the 12 x 12 sheet of this Jenni Bowlin paper with that super trendy honeycomb thing, and it was a little thicker than most patterned papers, so I thought what the heck. Still seemed a tad too flimsy to me, but not as bad as I thought, and I did add a blank cardstock piece to the inside to write on, and that made it more heavy. So I guess it’s OK. Not sure I’m going to make a habit of this though.
This card was a little more work. Some swooshie painting on the edges, big chipboard pieces.
Like 10 times the weight of that card up there – LOL
