Up this week is a little round-up action.  Albertsons does this promotion where they will round up any coupon to $1.  This is great for all those 25-cent coupons that don’t seem worth it to clip and save.  But when you can pair the round-up with good coupons and a good sale, it’s a beautiful thing.

38-cent cereals, and totally free puffed organic cereals.

49-cent jars of peppers, and the rest was all free.

Walmart matched Albertsons’ round-up promotion, so I was able to score there too.
I think the Del Montes were free, but I can’t remember.  29-cent Ortega chiles, 18-cent yeast, and 18-cent Spaghettios.

62-cent garbage bags, 12-cent toilet paper, and the rest was all free.

The parms were $1 each, the string cheeses were $1.50, free Lindt truffles, and 38-cents for the Chiquita fruit bites.

Free – all of it.
I asked the kids what they thought if at Christmas for their school classes I packaged up Chapstick and/or Carmex for the goody bags.  My daughter says “and what else?”  I said nothing else, because that stuff is worth at least $1 each.  She says “mom, Christmas is about CANDY, not Carmex!” – ROTFL  I thought it was a good idea 😐

Oh look at all those delicious lucky charms! I love lucky charms (cant eat though- makes my blood sugar go through the roof!) Nice haul you had. Love that you guys get all those cool round up promotions. Our stores (at least here N. CA) do not do that. No doubling, no rounding. 🙁

OK so random but have you ever had Puffed Wheat Squares? Google it. You have to make them. Oh my. Also, have you ever used the Puffed Rice in place of rice crispies in Rice Crispy squares? Once again….you gotta! Do it. Then report back to me on your thoughts.
