Adventures in Couponing.
Posted by Michelle on December 9th, 2012 . Filed under: Couponing .Today I’m sharing some random Albertsons freeness. Freeness. I just typed it so it must be a word – heh.
Alright – so this particular week was a double coupon week. Stove Top stuffing was on sale for $1, I had coupons for $1 off 2 which doubled to $2 off 2 which = 8 boxes for free. But then, I hit paydirt on the cupcake sprinkles and cupcake papers. The fall/Halloween stuff was 75% off which had them each being 49-cents. I had coupons from Facebook for $1 off 2. So I didn’t have to double those to get these free. But the kicker was that all the baking stuff was on sale buy 2 get 1 free – and this stuff was baking stuff, so I got 3 free for every coupon I had! So I ended up with 60 things for free.
These big noodle cups were on sale for 33-cents each. I had 11 coupons for $1 off 4. Which I doubled. So that made them $2 off 4 when they were only going to be $1.32 for the 4 of them which scored me 44 cups totally free.
This deal was even better than free. These Campbell’s Skillet Sauces were on sale for $2 each. I had 12 coupons for $1 off 1, which I doubled making them free. However, the store had a promo going where you got $1 back for every 2 that you bought. So I made $1 on every 2. BUT!! I was able to double that $1 Catalina so really I made $2 on every 2 or $12 total! Holy crackers!
I took those Catalinas, doubled them, so that was $12 to spend, plus I got a $5 Catalina back the previous week for buying some Mucinex, so that = $17 in free money which got me all this for FREE. You can’t see it in the picture, but there are 2 flats of chicken and 2 flats of breaded pork there. They were buy 1 get 1 free, and they each had $2 off coupons on them. Ha. I totally stretched this deal as far as it could go. Bomb.
