Deck the Halls {redux}.

Exactly 2 years ago. 2 years ago when I think my style was still evolving, and I wasn’t as comfortable and content with my cardmaking skills as I am today. But for some reason, this card has gotten a lot of internet play. And I don’t understand why. It gets pinned on Pinterest way more than anything else I have ever made. It shows up on blogs, and DIY and tutorial sites pretty often. And, it represents 75% of my site traffic. Seventy-five percent! That’s madness. Is it because it’s colorful? Easy to replicate? Simple? All of the above? I am shaking my head on this one. But be that as it may, I’m reposting it today to kick off Christmas on the blog. TGIF – and ’tis the season!

I love this card! Its completely visually pleasing but more importantly people look at it and think oh I could do that. Because it looks deceptively simple.
