On Saturday we made the trek from Boise to the Bay Area, California to see our family. The first time we have been home for Christmas in 9 years! Oh my gosh. The kids have been so happy about this trip, my mother-in-law has all her kids and grandkids with her for the first time ever, I get to see all my nieces and nephews, and my little brother, and my cousin who had a stroke and lives in a nursing home now, and spend time with my ailing tio Joe. This is going to be the bestest Christmas ever. Do you find yourself saying that every year? Well this one is special for us for sure.
