The Husband’s Valentine card.

It seems only fitting that I post today the Valentine card I made for my husband as he is having surgery on his knee today.  Poor fella.  But I’ve taken today and tomorrow off to care for him because as we all know, husbands are kinda like babies when they are sick.  They aren’t strong like us child-bearin’ women 😉

The fine folks over at BasicGrey sent me their True Love collection to play with, and I made cards for all 3 of my loves.  Thing is though, with this weather, the garage is ice cold and that’s where my light tent is.  So I’ve been taking pictures on my craft table and editing the heck out of ’em and some of them (like the cards for my son and daughter) I still am not able to get a good shot of, so, you won’t be seeing those.  Anywho.  True Love patterned paper and stickers, some fun twine from Whisker Graphics, and sequins.

I packaged the cards in glassine bags (from my shoppe) and embellished the fronts a little bit, and now we’re all set for the big day of love!
