Ticket to my Heart.

It was new when we bought it 11 years ago. We got the exterior painted a few years back. But the inside shows an unbelievable amount of wear from the littles. So many things need to be done. It’s overwhelming. And when I am in a bad mood and get started – forget about it. LOL But while the littles and I were in Salt Lake City this week, my husband decided to paint and redecorate the kids’ bathroom. The kids’ bathroom is the one that guests use. Ugh. Paint chipping off the walls. Toothpaste smeared everywhere. Half Boise State theme and half hodgepodge. I don’t even like walking down the hall because I don’t want to see it because I know I’ll start b*tching about it. But he chose the paint and decor all on his own and I am so happy – and grateful.
Now that I know he can paint, I’m hoping for some of those accent walls in the kitchen and dining room. What color? Cranberry and a dark mustard I have seen often. But I like to be different. What other colors for accent walls in those areas do people use?
As for my card, patterned papers and stickers by My Mind’s Eye, and finished off with some yummy Orange Divine Twine from Whisker Graphics.

Ohhhhhh a new bathroom sounds wonderful! Glad Rob had some peace and quiet to do it while the house was empty 😉 Bet he enjoyed that too! LOL!
