Adventures in Couponing.

Hello, and welcome to another one of my coupon adventures.
This first picture is of things that I am brand-loyal to.  I use the Garnier Fructis shampoos & conditioners, and Purex laundry detergent, and Hefty plastic bags.  These things are hard to get for super cheap or free, so when I can pair a sale, or a price match, or double a coupon, I will stock up.  These items were all 97-cents each which is about 66% off the regular price at Walmart (which is probably more % off compared to other stores).

97-cents for the Soft Scrub & 409, and the rest was all free.
This may be a ding-dong question, but does anyone know if you can ship aerosol cans through the mail?  I’m putting together a birthday package for my cousin and her girls, and I’ve got all sorts of my free beauty things like lip balms and eye shadows, was going to throw in the hair sprays, but wondering if that’s a no-no or they’ll blow up en route or something?

50-cents for the King’s Hawaiian – we used these to make sammies for Easter – free baguette and bread bowl, free tortillas, and the Texas Toast was 47-cents.

Free rice, 25-cent hash browns, and 50-cent crackers.  Remember, a lot of high-value coupons come out on new items, so get them while you can.  They want to get you hooked on the item with a good coupon, and then take the coupons away and have you love the item and pay full price for it.

97-cent bread, free carrots, 68-cent sugar, and 49-cent Dole fruit bowls (too much to spend on these, but my husband takes them to work for a snack and a 12-cent snack is better than something that costs $1+ from the vending machine).

Did you know that Dollar Tree now accepts coupons?  Anyone tried that yet?  I have one nearby and am thinking of checking it out.

You can’t send aerosol cans. I know this because I wanted to send Cheez whiz to a friend in Ireland. No go. I shop at Dollar Tree on occasion but have never used a coupon. Frankly I hate that place so much I only go when desperate for cheap items for school. Teaching science requires that I buy all kinds of crazy crap.
