I’m off work this week taking the ol’ furlough (cost-savings where the entire company has to take a week off without pay – hey, it’s better than a layoff, right?!). I like to call it a furcation. The new word I have heard people use for it is a funlough. Either way – I am off this week with no pay. I’m totally cool with it though – I have lots to get done and this break came at the perfect time. I slept in late this morning, got the kiddies off to school (I leave for work before they get up, so it was nice to walk them out to the bus stop), put a load of laundry in, and when I’m done with this here post I’ll be headin’ to the craft table.
Up today is a fun lil’ card I made for my husband’s birthday – this Thursday. I love personalizing birthday cards either with their name or birth month, something that makes it feel like the card was made just for them. Here’s to a great week for us all!
