May Cara Box.

I was on a local girl’s blog recently, and she was doing her Cara Box reveal post – showing what she got in her Cara Box. I love sending packages, so I went to Kaitlyn’s blog to read all about it. Just like the logo says – you send a package, someone else sends one to you, and you make friends. It’s a beautiful thing. There is a theme every month, and there is a $15 minimum. Go read about it if you’re interested. A swap like this is where I met one of my favie online crafty girls back in the day. So friendships really can come of it.
My packages all wrapped and ready to go to Kat. She’s a cute little fitness girl in South Carolina.
The theme was to go regional. Send things about where you are from. Some lotion because Idaho is dry. A Scentsy car freshener – Idaho company. Some pretty purple patterned stocking sock things from Nordstrom – a popular Pacific Northwest store. She likes purple, and she eats healthy – hence the little bowl (from Lord & Taylor) and the Bob’s Red Mill oat bran.
My goodies from Victoria. She’s an adorable fashionista in Arizona. Love the notepad – I am a total list person; and washi (you know how I love my washi).
Pirate’s Booty – she said it was a healthy snack. But is it healthy to eat the whole bag at once? D’oh! Squirt guns (which I am totally re-gifting to my son for his birthday) and some sunscreen – it’s hot in Arizona (and Idaho too).
Totally fun experience. I would do it again – and I just signed up for the next round. Will I make besties or life-long friends out of it? Not sure. I think you have to have some things in common. And I am a lot older than these girls. And I ain’t fit, and I’m no fashionista – LOL Maybe someday. But it was a pleasure “meeting” both these girls, for sure.
