Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String…

….these are a few of my favorite things.
I am so not a Sound of Music aficionado.  However I do love that little song.
And now I’m singing it.  And if you know it, you are too.  You’re welcome.

Today I’m sharing some fun gift packaging for Grandpa.  Grandpa is so hard to buy for.  I mean, even at my age there’s really not a lot of “things” that I want or need anymore.  But there are some things that he likes – like Jelly Bellies – so we always give him some of those on his special days.

I love love love these Silver Chevron Middy Bitty Bags from Whisker Graphics.  And I feel inclined to say “adorbs” at this point.  Really love these little guys (they aren’t that little).

I just topped them with some fun papers & stickers from Echo Park Paper, stamped a sentiment from Paper Smooches, and then tied them off with some fun orange Divine Twine (also from Whisker Graphics)

I didn’t have any Glossy Accents, but I had some Crackle Accents and used that on the eyes.  Not sure it was a great idea.  I mean who has crackled eyes anyway?

Not a Sound of Music aficionado? Sounds to me like you might just be a closet musical lover!
Crackle accents for the eyes? Oh yeah. Sounds about right.
I think it’s great that you still have a grandpa (yours? or were you referring to your child’s grandpa hence your father or FIL?). And that he likes Jelly Belly beans:)
Those zig zag bags ARE awesome (I cannot bring myself to say “adorbs”…wait…I just did. damn.) and so are those die-cuts. Love the tree and the squirrel and the leaves. Owls scare me.
You rock. Can you make gift packaging for me and my family too? *chuckle*
