I’m back today with another one of my coupon adventures which includes a whole lotta free. So let’s check it out.
I love back to school time. If you’re a papercrafter like me, do you love all the fun notebooks and folders and pens and such that we shop for with our kidlets this time of year? I sure do. Rite Aid had some totally free items in their ad, so I chose the composition books – some for the kids, and some for me to decorate and gift later.
Same goes for these 3M wall clippy thingies. They did not have the one that was pictured in the ad so they substituted the 2-pack; nice.
And then there was the Snapware. Love me some free Snapware. It was on sale BOGO, and I had coupons for $2-off. For example: buy one for $3.49, get one free, so you pay $3.49 for 2 of them and then get 2 x $2 off = free.
Then I went to the Walmart for a few things. Tortillas were $1.78, I had $1 off coupons so they were 78-cents. The Garniers were $2.96, I had coupons for $1.50 off = $1.46 each. I use this brand, so whenever I can get it for cheap, I will. The Crayola markers I used the Rite Aid coupon from above at Walmart to score them for free. I wasn’t sure they would do this, but they have a pretty liberal price-match policy and gave me no grief about it at all. These Knorr bouillons were 72-cents each, and I had coupons for 35-cents off which made them 37-cents each; great for soups and stews as we head in to the fall and winter.
Albertsons had Propels for 25-cents each when you bought 10 – so we stocked up since fall soccer is back in season.
They also had their store brand on sale for 50-cents each, with a store coupon for $1-off-2 = free.
