Adventures in Couponing.
Posted by Michelle on October 27th, 2013 . Filed under: Couponing .I got my posts out of order and forgot to post another one of my trips to the Walmart with the moneymaking Gillette coupons.
These coupons earn me $2.19 for every 3 cans, so I am +$8.76 from the start of this trip.
S&W beans were 68-cents each, I had coupons for $1-off-2 that I got from their Facebook page, which made beans 18-cents a can. The McCormick spices were moneymakers. $1.64 each, and the coupons were for $2 off which made me $2.16 on the 6 packages.
Rosauer’s had Franz bread for 99-cents, so I took the ad with me to the Walmart, they price-matched, and then I had $1 coupons which made the bread free. The Armour breakfast things were $1 each, I had coupons for $1-off-2 which made them 50-cents each, and the Mickey cheese was $1.78 and I had coupons for 75-cents off which made them $1.03.
Got my Halloween candy for trunk-or-treat at the church. Twizzlers were $2.28 each, I had coupons for $1.50-off-2 which made them $1.53 each. You’ll probably be able to get comparable deals with “the good candy” for Halloween, but if we have leftover Halloween candy, I won’t touch this one like I would the good stuff 😉 I had a couple of $2 coupons for Ghirardelli bars, and they were $1.76, so I made 48-cents on the 2.
And then there was Albertsons.
Their store brand tissues were 50-cents each, and there was a store coupon for $1-off-2 which made them free.
