Adventures in Couponing.
Posted by Michelle on February 2nd, 2014 . Filed under: Couponing .It’s been a busy couple of months and I have been well off my routine.
But I am back today with another coupon adventure and hope to get back to usual around here.
I went to the Walmart last night with some 75-cent off coupons for these sodas that were 88-cents each. 13-cents each for a 2-liter. It’s the kind that my mom likes, so it’s great to have on hand when she comes by for a visit.
75-cents off these cheeses made them $1.03 each. I am thinking the per ounce price does not make these a great deal. I could probably do better buying the blocks of cheese and slicing. But they are fun for the kids. The Knorr bouillons were 72-cents each and I had coupons for 50-cents off which made them 22-cents each and I use these a lot with soups and stews especially in the winter time.
My daughter found these Candy Crush fruit snacks in a clearance basket. 50-cents each for a 10-pack = 5-cents per snack which is a pretty good (and fun for the kids) deal.
We went to Walgreens this morning to take advantage of a hot deal on deodorant. Hot as in free. They were on sale buy one get one free, and you pair that with a buy one get one free coupon = 2 free deodorants per coupon.
These were all free items too, buy the item and get the $ back, roll it to the next item and it’s all free. My son uses the Melatonin to help him sleep at night so I had to get the other items to roll with it and get this all free but only because I really wanted/needed the Melatonin.
