Posted by Michelle on July 2nd, 2014 . Filed under: American Crafts, Cards .It seems only fitting that on what’s going to be our first 100° day, I post a summer card. I cannot stand the summer – or the heat, more specifically. I would much rather be cold than hot. Bring on the bitter cold and sub-zero temps! But alas, it is what it is. And today it’s going to be hot. The thing that makes it worse for me, I think, is because our house faces east, and the high temps come in at the end of the day. So it’s not until say 4 o’clock on that the sun and the heat is beating in on our dining room and my bedroom and it’s that way through the night. Ugh. I just hate it. And too it seems like the central air can never get the place as cool as I want it to be. Oh summer, you and I are not friends. But my kids sure do love you, so I’ll put on the happy face for them 🙂

I’m so with you on the heat…yesterday it was 90+ here…I love 70 degrees.
