(This is a re-post of a project that I have up on the Hazel & Ruby blog today.)

Happy Holidays, Hazel & Ruby fans!
I’m here today sharing a super frugal and super easy handmade gift that I made for my son.  It’s a magnetic noteboard for him to put up in his room.  And check out how easy it is to make.

I picked up some Star Wars magnets on the cheap around Black Friday, I had this awesome Cherry Bomb Glitter Blast spray from our friends over at Krylon, and I used the Blindside Alpha from Hazel & Ruby.  My base?  A cookie sheet from the dollar store!

1.  Lay out letters on top of the cookie sheet.  I also added an arrow from the Everyday Shapes stencil set.

2.  Spray several layers of Glitter Blast until the color and coating is to your liking.

3.  Allow to dry completely – (I let mine dry overnight) – and then peel off the letters.

4.  Outline letters with a Sharpie.
