Today I’m sharing a fun handmade card to celebrate the 4th of July. I know most of us don’t really send out 4th of July cards, but I do like to make a few to give to the kids with some 4th of July fireworks (sparklers and poppers) with a little note inside reminding them to be fun … and safe.
For this card I used some Hazel & Ruby Pass the Tissue paper in Quote Collage, and then applied star stencils from Everyday Shapes.
Step 1.
Adhere Pass the Tissue paper to coaster chipboard with Mod Podge.
Step 2.
Apply star stencils.
Step 3.
Water color the top half of the piece red, and the bottom part blue.
Step 4.
Allow to dry.
Remove stencils and outline stars with Imagine Craft’s Irresistible Pico Embellisher.
Stamp sentiment.
Step 6.
Adhere to 5×5 card base.
