Friends are God’s way of taking care of us.

I was having some not great days last month and Leigh Ann sent me this card.
Going through yucky things and feeling like people care is a beautiful thing; thanks, Leigh Ann.
There’s another Lee Anne out there who I thought might could use a thoughtful something in her mailbox as well. So I put together a couple of little gift bags for her and her son using the white window coffee bags from my shoppe.
Patterned paper from Little Yellow Bicycle, pretty flowers from Prima, a fun Flair badge from American Crafts, and a big ol’ rhinestone from Glitz Design.
The Monday journaling tag is from Elle’s Studio and the lil’ birdie is from Martha.
A little taggie made with Doodlebug diecuts and teeny alphas from Glitz Design.
And for her son I brought out the Lil’ Robots collection from My Mind’s Eye.
More teeny alphas from Glitz Design, and some fun ribbon from May Arts.

yes I am going to Sweden this weekend, it’s neighboring country of Denmark as I live in. I live close to the border and it only takes 20 minutes by ferry, then I’m in sweden. My parents are Danish but living in Sweden with my sister and brother. My parents live in Helsingborg and my sister in Malmø. Sweden is a big country, where does your husband’s family live?

hello again ;O)
I go to Sweden about once a month, I’ll see what I can find about prices and stuff. I’m not quite sure what dala horse is, but my brother is married Swedish, so I can probably find out. Besides, I think I have some Christmas pattern paper with Swedish text if you interested ? (I know there is a long time for Christmas) I have surely also a stamp with a rose and some Swedish text. I can make any impression and send it to you.

Super sweet gift bags, Michelle, and you’re so right about friends- they are God’s way of taking care of us! I’m sure Lee Anne and Rustin will love getting some happy, cheery goodies in the mail, might help them escape for just a few minutes. Beautiful thing.
